CANCELLED - LA 550 north of Farmerville in Union Parish

*UPDATE: BRIDGE CLOSURE HAS BEEN CANCELLED
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that, beginning on Monday, April 13th, the LA 550 Bridge over Lion Creek, north of Farmerville, in Union Parish will be closed for necessary bridge repairs.
The bridge will be closed approximately 8.8 miles east of LA 15.
The closure is anticipated to last 2 weeks, and should be open Friday, April 24, 2026.
Restrictions/Permits:
Total road closure at the specified location. All vehicles will need to utilize an alternate route.
Safety reminder:
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
