Lane closure: N. Lakeshore Drive from I-10 WB entrance ramp to EB side of Lakeshore Drive - Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced a single left lane closure along North Lakeshore Drive from the I-10 Westbound Entrance Ramp and ending on the eastbound side of Lakeshore Drive from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, and Wednesday, April 8, 2026.
The closure is necessary for erosion control in the median of N. Lakeshore going under the approach of the Calcasieu River Bridge. Work will be conducted weather permitting.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
