H.016425 – I-10 - Ascension Parish

Construction is underway for State Project H.016425, I-10: Ascension Parish Pavement Markers Replacement. This project is 21.664 miles in Ascension Parish. The type of work includes removal of existing marking, pavement striping, raised pavement markers, and related work at a cost of $2,614,842.00.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development is notifying motorists of this active construction zone on I-10 within Ascension Parish. Slow moving single lane closures on I-10 Eastbound and I-10 Westbound are scheduled to begin Monday night, April 6th, and extend thru Thursday night, July 2nd, 2026. These closures are scheduled to take place between 8:00 PM and 5:00 AM, Sunday thru Thursday nights between the East Baton Rouge Parish Line and the St. James Parish Line. Motorists may experience delays due to these nightly lane closures.
These lane closures are required to restripe I-10 in Ascension Parish.
