Closure: US 190 at railroad crossing in Kinder 200 ft. south of Sixth Ave. – Allen Parish

Allen Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced that US 190 in Kinder at the UPRR railroad crossing (200 feet south of Sixth Ave.) is closed from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2026.
Detour information:
Motorists can detour via US 165 and LA 1150.
The closure is necessary for repairs at the Union Pacific Railroad crossing.
