I-55 Southbound Right Lane Closure from Mile Point 46 (near Amite Exit) to Mile Point 48 (near Arcola Exit)– DOTD Pot Holing Operations – Tangipahoa

There will be an I-55 Southbound right lane closure from Mile Point 46 to Mile Point 48 scheduled for Tuesday, April 7, 2026, from 7AM to 5PM, weather permitting, for DOTD maintenance pot holing operations. The left lane will remain open to traffic.
Permit Information:
Oversized loads are restricted to 12 feet in width.
Detour Information:
Motorists may use the following routes to avoid the work zone:
Motorists traveling I-55 south may take LA 1048 (Arcola Exit 50) east to US 51, then south to LA 16, then west to re-intersect I-55.
