UPDATE: The traffic swap has been rescheduled to April 9, 2026.
Jefferson Davis Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced there will be a traffic swap on Interstate 10 Westbound from Mile Marker 44 to Mile Marker 46 from 7 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2026, to 5 a.m. Friday, April 10, 2026.
The left lane of I-10 WB from MM 44 to MM 46 will also be closed during this time.
The closure is necessary for crews to stripe I-10 Westbound and move traffic to its permanent configuration.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
