Shoulder closure: I-10 East and West and surrounding service roads (Mile Marker 25 to Mile Marker 31) - Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces multiple singular shoulder closures along Interstate 10 Eastbound and Westbound from Mile Marker 25 to Mile Marker 31, beginning Sunday, March 22, 2026, through Wednesday, April 22, 2026.
Work will be conducted from the shoulders with no impairment to traffic.
These closures are necessary for preconstruction activities (survey, soil borings), duct bank operations, maintenance inspections and repairs for bridges, guardrail, lighting, and drainage structures, moving operations, debris/litter removal, and mowing. Work will be conducted weather permitting.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
