DOTD closes Chalmette Ferry Bridge (St. Bernard Parish)

New Orleans - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces the emergency closure of the LA 47 Chalmette Ferry Bridge in St. Bernard Parish due to issues discovered during a routine inspection.
DOTD will update the public as information becomes available.
