LA 83 (Weeks Island Road) between LA 14 (Abbeville Hwy) and S. Lewis Street, Iberia Parish, Lane Closure

LA 83 (Weeks Island Road) between LA 14 (Abbeville Hwy) and S. Lewis Street will have alternating lane closures beginning Tuesday, March 24, to Thursday, April 23, to allow for power pole replacements, weather permitting.
This lane closure will utilize a flagging operation and occur daily from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., weather permitting.
The road will be open to regular traffic with no lane restriction on oversized loads passing through the work zone.
No detour will be required and emergency vehicles will have access to the area but may encounter delays.
