DOTD to Install All-Way Stop at LA 443 and River Rd/Faller Rd – Tangipahoa Parish

TANGIPAHOA PARISH, La. — The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that changes are coming to the intersection of LA 443 and River Road / Faller Road in Tangipahoa Parish.
On April 8, 2026, stop signs, stop ahead signs, and striping will be installed to convert the intersection to an all-way stop. Following a recent study, DOTD is making this change to improve the safety and overall functionality of the intersection.
Beginning two weeks prior to installation, message boards will be placed in the area to notify motorists of the upcoming change.
Safety reminder: DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
