Prospect Bridge Replacement Project update

The project engineer for the Prospect Bridge Project is very pleased with the progress to date. The Contractor is on schedule and working six days a week.
Current work:
The contractor is removing the old fender system and concrete piles from the bridge piers. They expect to be finished with this work in 2-3 weeks.
Completed work:
Crews have removed the entire old bridge structure. The new drainage work is located along La 3087 (Prospect Street) and La 24 (Main Street), and ninety percent of the drainage work is complete.
