Hwy 61 (Blues Hwy) - East Baton Rouge Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that Hwy 61 NB from 1,000 ft North of 18800 Samuels Rd. to 1,000 ft South of 18800 Samuels Rd. will have an outside lane closure on Monday, March 16th and Tuesday March 17th between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM each day.
This closure is necessary to safely offload equipment and materials 80 to 100 yards off Hwy 61 for utility installation.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the work zone and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
