I-49 Southbound at Exit 1A – I-10 East (Baton Rouge), Lafayette Parish, Ramp Closures

I-49 Southbound Exit Ramp at Exit 1A – I-10 East (Baton Rouge) will be closed on the following night:
Sunday, March 22 at 8:00 p.m. until Monday, March 23 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.
These ramp closures are necessary to allow crews to perform joint saw and seal operations for the I-10 on ramp.
Motorist traveling on I-49 SB will only be able to access I-10 East via the posted detour route, which includes continuing southbound on I-49/US 90 to Willow Street, turn east on Willow Street, then take US 90 Northbound to Exit 1A – I-10 East (Baton Rouge).
Emergency vehicles will not have access to the I-49 Southbound exit ramp at Exit 1A – I-10 East (Baton Rouge).
Detour routes will be posted during the ramp closure periods.
There will be no vehicle width restrictions with this work.
