I-49 Northbound at Exit 1A – I-10 East (Baton Rouge), Lafayette Parish, Ramp Closures

I-49 Northbound Exit Ramp at Exit 1A – I-10 East (Baton Rouge) will be closed on the following night:
Thursday, March 19 at 8:00 p.m. until Friday, March 20 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.
These ramp closures are necessary to allow crews to perform joint saw and seal operations for the I-10 on ramp.
Motorist traveling on I-49 NB will only be able to access I-10 East via the posted detour route, which includes continuing northbound on I-49 to Exit 1C – Pont Des Mouton Rd, turn west on Pont Des Mouton Rd, then take I-49 Southbound to Exit 1A – I-10 East (Baton Rouge).
Emergency vehicles will not have access to the I-49 Northbound exit ramp at Exit 1A – I-10 East (Baton Rouge).
Detour routes will be posted during the ramp closure periods.
There will be no vehicle width restrictions with this work.
