H.015558 – LA 44 (River Road) – St. James Parish

Construction is underway for State Project H.015558. This State Project is to patch, mill, and overlay, and stripe LA 44 between LA 3274 and LA 642 in St. James Parish.
LA 44 will have daily alternating lane closures between LA 3274 and LA 642. These closures are scheduled to continue from Wednesday, March 11th, 2026, and extend thru Friday April 10th, 2026. Daily closures will take place Mondays – Fridays between 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic through the work zone. One lane of travel will be maintained at all times. Motorists should expect delays when traveling through the work zone.
These closure are necessary for asphalt paving and striping.
These closures are subject to change due to adverse weather conditions.
