***UPDATE***Road closure: I-10 Eastbound & Westbound (Mile Marker 25.5 to Mile Marker 25) - Calcasieu Parish

UPDATE: Calcasieu Parish - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced an I-10 Eastbound and Westbound alternating road closure from 8 p.m., Thursday, March 19, 2026, through 5 a.m. Friday, March 20, 2026, at Exit 25.
The closure is necessary for inspection of horizontal boring under roadway. Work will be conducted weather permitting.
Closures will be in 15-minute intervals, with a minimum of 30-minute openings to allow any queues to clear.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
