UPDATE: I-10 Eastbound Exit 33 (US 171 North) is open.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that effective immediately, the I-10 Eastbound Exit 33 US 171 North is closed until further notice.
This closure is necessary to perform work on the communications tower with was damaged by a vehicular accident.
