DOTD announces a Sidewalk Construction Project on Tee Ma Road in Carencro

LAFAYETTE PARISH, LA - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) announces that work has commenced on a $254,169.00 project to construct sidewalks on Tee Ma Road in Carencro.
The project includes the installation of Portland cement concrete sidewalks, drainage structures, earthwork, and related improvements.
Work is expected to take place Monday through Friday from 7:00a.m. – 4:30 p.m., weather permitting.
Intermittent lane closures may be necessary to perform the work in each area; therefore, drivers should expect some delays.
The project is estimated for completion in July 2026. DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
