RESCHEDULED: I-10 Eastbound at Exit 76 – LA 91 (Iota, Estherwood), Acadia Parish, Ramp Closures

UPDATE: Due to the contractor having equipment issues this closure has been rescheduled to the following night:
· Monday, March 23 at 8:00 p.m. until Tuesday, March 24 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.
I-10 Eastbound Entrance and Exit Ramp at Exit 76 – LA 91 (Iota, Estherwood) will be closed on the following nights.
Thursday, March 12 at 8:00 p.m. until Friday, March 13 at 6:00 a.m. weather permitting.
These ramp closures are necessary to allow crews to perform joint sawing and sealing operations for the I-10 entrance and exit ramps.
Motorist traveling on I-10 EB will only be able to access LA 91 via the posted detour route, which includes continuing eastbound on
I-10 to Exit 80 – LA 13 (Eunice, Crowley), turn north on LA 13, then take I-10 Westbound to Exit 76 – LA 91 (Iota, Estherwood).
Motorist traveling on LA 91 will only be able to access I-10 Eastbound via the posted detour route, which includes taking I-10 Westbound to Exit 72 – Trumps Rd (Egan), turn south on Trumps Rd, then take I-10 Eastbound.
Emergency vehicles will not have access to the entrance and exit ramp at Exit 76 – LA 91 (Iota, Estherwood).
Detour routes will be posted during the ramp closure periods.
There will be no vehicle width restrictions with this work.
