Alternating lane closure: LA 14 EB and WB from LA 397 /Ward Line roundabout to Gerstner Memorial Blvd. – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced there will be alternating lane closures along LA 14 Eastbound and Westbound from the LA 397/Ward Line roundabout to Gerstner Memorial Boulevard, beginning Monday, March 9, 2026, through Saturday, August 1, 2026.
Closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
A 10-foot width restriction will be in place throughout the duration of the project.
The closures are necessary for crews to perform pavement patching and drainage work. Traffic in both directions will be maintained via flagging operation.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
