I-55 Southbound and Northbound, Moving Operation, from LA 16 (Exit 46) to LA 1050 Overpass (Milepost 58) – Tangipahoa Parish

There will be moving operations on the I-55 Northbound right lane, from Arcola (Exit 50) to LA 1050 Overpass (MM 58), and the I-55 Southbound right lane, from the Greensburg (Exit 53) to Amite (Exit 46), beginning at 7am through 4pm, daily, on Monday, March 2, 2026 through Tuesday, March 3, 2026, weather permitting, while DOTD crews perform asphalt pot holing operations. The left lane will remain open to traffic.
Permit Information:
No restrictions for oversized loads.
Detour Information:
Motorists may use the following routes to avoid the work zone:
Motorists traveling I-55 north may take LA 16 (Exit 46) east to US 51, then north to LA 38, then west to re-intersect I-55.
Motorists traveling I-55 south may take LA 38 (Exit 61) east to US 51, then south to LA 16, then west to re-intersect I-55.
