DOTD announces completion of $7.4 million LTIF rehabilitation project on La. 100 in Acadia Parish

ACADIA PARISH, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces the completion of a $7.4 million roadway improvement project along a 5.32-mile section of LA 100 from LA 97 to LA 91 in Acadia Parish. This project was funded through the Louisiana Transportation Infrastructure Fund (LTIF) program.
Construction began March 17, 2025, and reached final completion in February 2026.
Project Scope The project included clearing and grubbing, lime treatment, in-place cement-treated subgrade, in-place cement-treated base course, milling of existing asphalt pavement, pavement patching, asphalt concrete overlay, installation and improvements to drainage structures, and related work. These improvements enhance roadway durability, improve drainage, and provide a smoother, safer driving surface for motorists traveling through the corridor.
