The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that, weather permitting, work will begin on the LA 467 Overlay Project on Monday, March 9, 2026 and will continue for approximately two (2) months. This asphaltic concrete overlay project is located on LA 467-1 in between LA 10 and Fort Polk’s South Gate (ACP 5). This 0.445 mile project will receive milling asphalt concrete, asphalt concrete overlay, and related work.
The project was awarded to the low bidder, T.L. Construction, LLC in the amount of $758,618.65.
Permit/Detour section
The contractor will begin milling asphalt pavement on Monday, March 9, 2026 and the roadway will remain open to all local and through traffic with no restrictions for passenger vehicles and a 11’ wide lane width restriction for all oversize vehicles. Lane closures will be utilized during construction operations.
