Alternating lane closure: Old Spanish Trail at the intersection of LA 27 in Sulphur – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced there will be alternating lane closures along Old Spanish Trail at the intersection of LA 27 in Sulphur, from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. daily, beginning Monday, March 2, 2026, through Friday, March 6, 2026.
The lane closures are necessary for crews to perform milling and asphalt operations at the intersection. Motorists should expect lengthy delays throughout the duration of the work.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
