LANE CLOSURES: LA 1 southbound at the Port, Caddo Parish The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Tuesday, March 3rd and Wednesday, March 4, 2026, there will be alternating lane closures on LA 1 southbound at the Port of Caddo-Bossier railroad crossing in south Caddo Parish.
These lane closures are scheduled to take place from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day, and are necessary to allow the RR company to perform repairs to the crossing at this location.
This RR crossing is located approximately 3.8 miles south of the intersection with LA 523 (Flournoy Lucas Rd). in Shreveport.
Restrictions/Permits: 12 foot lane width restriction
Alternate Route: No detours are associated with this work
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
