Update (2/24/2026): LA 125 railroad crossing in Urania, LA, LaSalle Parish, is open to traffic.
The railroad company has completed the crossing pad replacement.
(2/23/2026) LA 125 railroad crossing in Urania, LA, LaSalle Parish, approximately 1 mile east of the intersection of LA 125 and US 165 will be closed beginning Tuesday, February 24, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. for the railroad company to replace the crossing pads.
Detour: LA 125, LA 127, US 165, LA 3259.
