H.016379 – LA 662 – Assumption Parish

Construction is underway for State Project H.016379. This State Project is to patch, mill, overlay, stripe, and related work on LA 662 in Assumption Parish.
LA 662 will have daily alternating lane closures between LA 182 and the Terrebonne Parish Line. These closures are scheduled to continue from Wednesday, March 11th, 2026 thru Friday May 1, 2026. Daily closures will take place Mondays – Fridays between 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic through the work zone. One lane of travel will be maintained at all times. Motorists should expect delays when traveling through the work zone.
These closure are necessary for patching, milling and overlaying the highway.
Restrictions: No permit or oversized loads greater than 12’ feet wide will be able to pass. These loads should contact the DOTD permit office for a new route.
These closures are subject to change due to adverse weather conditions.
