Lane closure: I-10 Westbound between Exit 30A (N. Lakeshore Drive) and N. Lakeshore Drive on-ramp — Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced the right lane along Interstate 10 Westbound will be closed between Exit 30A (N. Lakeshore Drive) and the North Lakeshore Drive on-ramp from 8 p.m. Monday, February 23, 2026, to 5 a.m. Tuesday, February 24, 2026.
The left lane on the North Lakeshore Drive service road will also be closed during this time. The on-ramp to I-10 WB will remain open.
The closure is necessary for erecting missing light poles in these areas. Work will be conducted weather permitting.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
