Update (2/23/2026): The bridge replacement on LA 506 East in Caldwell Parish has been cancelled for a later date.
(2/12/2026) LA 506 East in Caldwell Parish (Recall#047160) approximately 3.7 miles east from the intersection of US 165 and LA 506 East will be closed beginning Thursday, February 19, 2026, until Thursday, April 2, 2026, in order for crews to complete the replacement of the bridge.
Permit/Detour: LA 506, US 165, LA 124.
