Construction is underway for State Project H.016503, I-10: St. James Parish Pavement Markers Replacement. This project is 6.804 miles in St. James Parish. The type of work includes removal of existing marking, pavement striping, raised pavement markers, and related work at a cost of $155,369.20
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development is notifying motorists of this active construction zone on I-10 within St. James Parish. Slow moving single lane closures on I-10 Eastbound and I-10 Westbound are scheduled to begin Monday, February 23, and extend thru Friday, March 13, 2026. These closures are scheduled to take place between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, Mondays thru Fridays between the St. John Parish Line and the Ascension Parish Line. Motorists should anticipate delays due to these daily closures.
These closures are required to restripe I-10 in St. James Parish.
