Emergency Lane Closure on I-10 Westbound - Iberville Parish

IBERVILLE PARISH – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) will implement an emergency partial right lane closure today on I-10 westbound in Iberville Parish. Work is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. and is expected to be completed by 2 p.m between mile markers 129 and 127.
These closures are necessary to allow crews to make temporary repairs on a bridge rail damaged overnight. One lane of travel will remain open during the closure.
Drivers should expect delays in the work zone and are encouraged to plan for additional travel time. DOTD reminds motorists to slow down, stay alert and obey all posted signs and traffic controls while crews are working.
