LA 73 (Jefferson Hwy) Lane Closure - East Baton Rouge Parish

ATTENTION:
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning Monday, February 09 and continuing to Monday, March 1 ,2026, the westbound outside lanes of LA 73 (Jefferson Hwy) will be closed from US 61 (Airline Hwy) to Bea Drive.
Westbound traffic has been shifted to the center turn lane from US 61 (Airline Hwy) to Bea Drive.
This closure is required to remove and replace roadway pavement, concrete drives, walks and drainage structures.
This closure is subject to change due to adverse weather conditions.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the work zone and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
