DOTD announces upcoming I-10 pavement marker project in Lafayette and St. Martin Parishes

LAFAYETTE, La. - DOTD announced that on Monday, February 23, it will begin construction on a $663,000 pavement marking project on Interstate 10.

PROJECT SCOPE
The project will include replacing pavement striping and raised pavement markers on a 13.718-mile stretch of Interstate 10 from I-49 to the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge in Lafayette and St. Martin Parishes.

WORK SCHEDULE
Work hours for this project will be Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with some night work required as needed.

TRAFFIC IMPACTS

Lane closures will be required for this project.

This project is estimated for completion in March 2026.
