Now Open: Senator Ted Hickey (Seabrook) Bridge in Orleans Parish

New Orleans, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises motorists that the Senator Ted Hickey Bridge (Seabrook Bridge) has reopened to vehicular traffic following completion of repairs.
The bridge was temporarily closed due to electrical issues. Crews rebuilt the affected components and conducted final testing before reopening the bridge to traffic.
DOTD appreciates the public’s patience while repairs were completed and reminds motorists to drive with caution and obey all posted traffic controls.
