US 61 from Wildcat Dr. to Airport Rd. - St. John the Baptist Parish -- Roadwork (Road Construction) H.014109

There will be a moving operation on US 61, both northbound and southbound, from Wildcat Dr. to Airport Rd., between 8am and 3pm, beginning on Saturday, February 7, 2026 through Monday, February 9, 2026, weather permitting, while crews install roadway striping. At least one lane in each direction will be open at all times.
Permit Information:
There are no restrictions for oversized loads.
Detour Information:
Motorists may use the following route to avoid the lane closures:
Motorists traveling US 61 north may take LA 3223 (Elm St.) south to LA 44, then west to LA 54, then north to re-intersect US 61.
Motorists traveling US 61 south may take LA 54 south to LA 44, then east to LA 3223 (Elm St.), then north to re-intersect US 61.
