UPDATE: All lanes on I-10 East over the Calcasieu River Bridge (MP 28.7) are open.

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced the right lane along I-10 East over the Calcasieu River Bridge (MP 28.7) will be closed tonight at 8pm until further notice.
The lane closure is necessary for bridge maintenance.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
