LA 95 (Mire Highway/Peach Bloom Highway), Acadia Parish, Road Closure

LA 95 (Higginbotham Hwy/Peach Bloom Highway) from LA 365 (Branch Highway) to LA 754 (Deanne Highway) will have phased roadway closures to vehicular traffic beginning Monday, February 2 at 6:00 a.m. until Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., weather permitting.
Theses closures are necessary to install new drainage structures across the roadway. These closures will be phased in separate locations, but will accommodate local traffic only.
Locations and durations of closures are as follows:
• 0.40 miles west of John Ivy Lane from Monday, February 2 to Wednesday, February 4, weather permitting.
• 0.19 miles west of John Ivy Lane from Thursday, February 5 to Friday, February 6, weather permitting.
• 0.21 miles south of LA 356 (Peach Bloom Hwy) from Monday, February 9 to Tuesday, February 10, weather permitting.
The detour for northbound traffic will be LA 365 (Branch Highway), west to LA 35 (Church Point Highway/W. Canal Street), and north to LA 95 (S. Main Street).
The detour for southbound traffic will be LA 35 (W. Canal St/Churchpoint Highway), south to LA 365 (Branch Highway), and east to LA 95 (Mire Highway/Peach Bloom Hwy).
Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area.
