***UPDATE***Nighttime alternating road closure: I-10 EB (Exit 27) & I-10 WB (Exit 30B) - Calcasieu Parish

UPDATE: Calcasieu Parish - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced alternating road closures on I-10 Eastbound at Exit 27 (Sampson Street) and I-10 Westbound at Exit 30B (Ryan Street) from 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 3, 2026, until 5 a.m. Wednesday, February 4, 2026.
A closure will also be in place on North Lakeshore Drive at the I-10 West Entrance Ramp. Closures will be in 15-minute intervals with a minimum of 30-minute openings to allow any queues to clear.
Work will be conducted weather permitting. The closure is necessary for inspection of horizontal boring under roadway.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
