DOTD Announces Activation of New Traffic Signal in Denham Springs (Livingston Parish)

Livingston Parish, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises motorists that a new traffic signal has been installed in Denham Springs on LA 1026 (Juban Rd.) at its intersection with Forrest Delatte Rd. in Livingston Parish.
The signal will begin normal operation on Thursday, January 22, 2026. At that time, DOTD crews will also restripe the intersection to accommodate the new traffic configuration.
Once operational, signal timing will be closely monitored and adjusted as needed based on traffic conditions at the intersection.
The new traffic signal is intended to improve traffic flow and enhance safety. Motorists are urged to be alert to the change in traffic patterns and should expect possible delays as timing adjustments are made. Drivers are reminded to eliminate distractions, obey posted speed limits, and never drive while impaired.
Safety reminder: DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Remember to leave plenty of space between you and the vehicle ahead.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
