Alternating lane closure: LA 108 NB and SB overpass at Interstate 10 in Sulphur – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced there will be alternating lane closures on LA 108 at the Interstate 10 overpass in Sulphur from 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. daily on the following days.
LA 108 Southbound:
- Wednesday, January 14, 2026
LA 108 Northbound:
- Thursday, January 15, 2026
The LA 108 SB closure will impact the westbound off-ramp to LA 108 and the eastbound on-ramp to I-10.
The LA 108 NB closure will impact the eastbound on-ramp of LA 108 and the westbound on-ramp to I-10 WB.
The lane closures are necessary for bridge deck and guardrail clean up on the LA 108 overpass.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
