Lane closure: US 90 from Maple Street to N. Huntington St. in Sulphur – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced there will be continuous, 24-hour right lane closures in both directions US 90 from Maple Street to North Huntington Street in Sulphur, beginning Monday, January 12, 2026.
The closures will be in place until Friday, February 6, 2026.
The closures are necessary for crews to perform improvements to catch basins and manholes. The work is related to State Project H.016008.6, US 90 and LA 3256 asphalt overlays.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
