Alternating lane closure: LA 14 NB and SB from Power Center Pkwy. To US 90 – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced there will be alternating lane closures on LA 14 Northbound and Southbound from Power Center Parkway to US 90, beginning Thursday, January 8, 2026, through Monday, June 1, 2026.
A 12-foot width restriction will be in effect for LA 14 NB and SB during the duration of the closure.
The lane closures are necessary for work related to the LA 14 improvement project from Power Center Parkway to US 90.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
