Alternating lane closures: US 165 NB and SB near Kinder – Allen Parish

Allen Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced that there will be alternating lane closures on US 165 Northbound and Southbound near Kinder, beginning 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Thursday, January 8, 2026.
The closure is necessary for roadway maintenance.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
