ATTENTION:
EMERGENCY LANE CLOSURE (EXTENDED)
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that there will be an emergency lane closure in the southbound outside lane of US 61 (Scenic Hwy) @ Blount Rd starting Thursday, December 18th @ 5PM to 5AM Monday, January 12, 2026. One lane of traffic will be maintain at all times.
These lane closures are necessary to allow contractor to repair sanitary sewer lines.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
