DOTD is publishing this notice on behalf of the Office of Louisiana Highway Construction (OLHC) for the LA 1062 Bridge Replacement.
There will be a full roadway closure at the LA 1062 Drain Bridge located 0.20 miles North of Firetower Rd. (or 1.2 miles South of Caboose Ln.) beginning at 6am on Monday, February 9, 2026 through 7pm on Friday, October 30, 2026, weather permitting, while construction crews perform bridge replacement operations.

Detour Information:
The following detour will be posted to avoid the road closure:
Motorists traveling LA 1062 east may take LA 40 east to LA 445, then north to re-intersect LA 1062.
Motorists traveling LA 1062 west may take LA 445 south to LA 40, then west to re-intersect LA 1062.
