LA 1 Alternating Lane Closures- West Baton Rouge Parish

WEST BATON ROUGE PARISH, La. - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that daily alternating lane closures will occur on LA 1 south of the Intracoastal Bridge to support surveying activities for the upcoming LA 415 to LA 1 Connector project.
Closures will take place daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. beginning December 9 through December 19, 2025, and will resume January 6 through the end of January. Drivers should expect intermittent delays and are encouraged to allow extra travel time or use alternate routes when possible.
These temporary lane closures are necessary for crews to safely collect survey data.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
