Lane closures: LA 26 at LA 380 in Lake Arthur – Jefferson Davis Parish

Jefferson Davis Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced there will be single lane closures along LA 26 at LA 380 in Lake Arthur, beginning Tuesday, December 9, 2025.
Motorists can expect single lane closures in both directions of LA 26 from 7 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. until the completion of the project to improve LA 380 from LA 14 to LA 26. The project is anticipated to be complete by spring 2026, weather permitting.
The closures are necessary for crews to complete asphalt concrete overlay and related work.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
