LANE CLOSURES: LA 523 (Flournoy Lucas Rd) at LA 1 (Youree Dr), Caddo Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, the inside lanes of LA 523 (E. Flournoy Lucas Road) at its intersection with LA 1 (Youree Drive) in Shreveport, Caddo Parish will be closed.
This includes the eastbound left turn lane and the westbound inside lane at the Union Pacific Railroad crossing located near this intersection.
These lane closures are scheduled to take place from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for one (1) day, and are necessary to allow UP Railroad to make repairs to the crossing arms that were damaged in a recent crash.
Through traffic on Youree Drive will not be impacted by this work.

Alternate Route: No alternate route necessary for this work.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
