UPDATE: Alternating lane closures: I-10 over the Calcasieu River Bridge and I-210 over the Prien Lake Bridge – Calcasieu Parish

UPDATE: The I-210 EB alternating lane closures have been rescheduled to Wednesday, December 10, 2025.
Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced the following lane closures on Interstate 10 over the Calcasieu River Bridge and Interstate 210 over the Prien Lake Bridge:
- I-10 EB will have alternating lane closures from 8 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. on Monday, December 8, 2025.
- I-210 EB will have alternating lane closures from 8 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 10, 2025.
The closures are necessary for bridge maintenance. All work is weather permitting. Motorists should expect delays.
Note: This maintenance will be performed concurrently with the scheduled I-10 Bridge inspection. DOTD will coordinate efforts to ensure there are no closures in the same direction on I-10 and I-210 at the same time.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
