Intermittent lane closures: LA 97 (Jennings I-10 interchange) – Jefferson Davis Parish

Jefferson Davis Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced there will be intermittent lane closures along LA 97 between Port Drive and the Acadia Parish Line, starting Monday, November 24, throughout the duration of the project.
Closures are necessary for crews to complete lighting removal and installation associated with the I-10: LA 97 interchange lighting project.
The project is expected to be complete by December 2026, weather permitting.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
